Refer to your initial Computer Basics Survey (handout).  Review the following:

1. I know how to hold and move the mouse..

2. I know how to double-click the mouse.

3. I know how to recognize and work with a drop-down menu.

4. I know the purpose for the right button on the mouse.

5. I know how to scroll within a page, line-by-line, and screen-by-screen.

6. I know how to recognize and work with scroll-bar menus.

7. I know how to open, close, minimize and maximize windows.

8. I know how to use the tab button when working with forms.

9. I know how to copy and paste text.

10. I know how to print selected text only.

11. I know how to use the print preview feature for internet documents.

12. I know where the backspace key is on the keyboard.

13. The enter button is also called the "return" button.

14. I know what a website address or URL is for.

15. I know how to spot a hyperlink on a page.

16. I know how to use the Internet Explorer menu to return to a site viewed earlier.

17. I know what a search engine is and how to use it.

18. Typing in a web address in the Internet Explorer's Address Box allows me to go directly to a site on the Internet.  

19. I know how to access and use the Help function of Internet Explorer.

20. I know how to do an Internet Explorer "phrase search".
